Commercial Network Cabling in Montgomery, AL

Network cabling in Montgomery

As the state capital, Montgomery has a large professional office market built around state agencies and the firms that work with them – law firms, consultants, lobbying and association offices. Add the hospitals and medical practices, the manufacturing plants and suppliers along the I-65 and I-85 corridors, and the military community around Maxwell Air Force Base, and you have a city where network cabling projects range from a ten-desk office to a full manufacturing site.

Downtown Montgomery is full of historic buildings being renovated into offices. Cabling an older building takes planning: thick masonry walls, plaster ceilings, few existing pathways and owners who want the building's character preserved. We look for routes during the site visit – existing chases, surface raceway where it is acceptable, fiber to reach distant areas – before we quote.

Planning a Montgomery project

Montgomery is about 105 miles south of our Birmingham office on I-65. We schedule projects in advance, give you a written quote with the drop count and timeline, and finish with testing, labeling and documentation. Many Montgomery customers also move to a cloud phone system during a buildout – we can install the phones in the same project.
