Video Calling on Your Business Phone System

Vulcan Telecom's hosted phone system supports video calls between offices and colleagues – on video desk phones with a built-in camera, such as the Yealink VP59 and T58W Pro, and in the desktop and mobile apps.

Video Calling – Vulcan Telecom, Birmingham, AL

Face to face between locations

Video calling lets offices in different locations meet for training, announcements and quick questions without driving across town. On a video desk phone it is as simple as dialing an extension: if the other side also has a camera, the call becomes a video call.

The right equipment

Video needs a phone with a camera and a screen. The models we supply for video calling include the Yealink VP59 smart video phone and the camera versions of the Yealink SIP-T58W Pro and T88V Pro. Other video phones may register on the system but video may not work on them – ask us before you buy, and check the phone catalog. Video also needs a good internet connection at each office, and we check that when we set it up.

Meetings, chat and presence

For larger meetings, screen sharing and guests outside your company, the phone system includes web and video conferencing. The desktop and mobile apps (team collaboration, Premium) add one-to-one video, chat and presence – you can see who is available before you call.
