Most EHR vendors now host the software, which makes the internet connection, the network and the computers at your office the part that has to be reliable. Our IT team keeps workstations updated and running, sets up new staff, manages Microsoft 365 and email, and makes sure the files and scanned documents that live at the office are backed up and can be restored. When the EHR vendor needs something changed on your network, we coordinate with them.

Patient privacy starts with the basics

Most breaches at small practices don't start with a sophisticated attack. They start with a phishing email, a shared password, a computer that hasn't been updated in months, or a former employee whose account still works. We set up email filtering, multi-factor sign-in, updates, encryption on laptops, separate Wi-Fi for patients and staff, and accounts that are removed the day someone leaves.
