What does Vulcan Telecom do?
We are a family-owned company in Birmingham, Alabama. We install commercial network cabling (Cat6, Cat6A and fiber), business Wi-Fi with a cabled access point in every area, and cloud phone systems with Yealink and Poly phones – and we still provide IT support for our existing customers.
Do you install business Wi-Fi?
Yes. We plan where the access points go, run a Cat6 cable to each one, mount them and set up the network with a separate guest Wi-Fi – in offices, warehouses and large buildings across Alabama.
Do you work outside Birmingham?
Yes. Our office is in Birmingham, and our cabling team takes on commercial projects across Alabama – including Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Auburn / Opelika. Phone systems and IT support are cloud based and supported remotely, with onsite visits around Birmingham.
How much does a business phone system cost?
Our cloud phone plans start at $19.99 per user per month (Basic), $24.99 (Professional) and $29.99 (Premium). Free onsite installation and training are included. Phones can be purchased from our catalog.
Can I keep my business phone number?
Yes. We port your existing numbers to the new system – one number port is included in every plan – and schedule the switch so your phones keep ringing.
How do I get a quote for network cabling?

What if I’m not tech-savvy?
No worries – most of our customers aren’t. We explain things in plain English, set everything up for you and train your team on site.
