How we protect your email

• Spam and phishing filtering – messages are checked for known threats, fake senders, dangerous links and attachments before they reach the inbox.
• Quarantine – suspicious messages are held aside instead of deleted, so a real email caught by mistake can be released.
• Link and attachment checks – links are checked when clicked and attachments opened safely first.
• Encryption – send sensitive information, such as financial or medical details, so only the recipient can read it.
• Sender authentication – SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for your domain make it much harder for criminals to send email pretending to be you, and help your real email reach inboxes.

Settings that matter in Microsoft 365

Many protections are already in Microsoft 365 but not switched on. We review the security settings, block automatic forwarding to outside addresses (a favorite trick after an account takeover) and make sure multi-factor sign-in protects every mailbox.
